Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning

Emmi-Pet is a painless, silent, non vibration, non abrasive toothbrush which sends Ultrasonic waves 12mm below the gum line killing the bacteria which causes plaque and gum disease.  It reduces plaque, heals gums, prevents dental disease and deterioration.  It has a microchip in the toothbrush head which creates 96 million oscillations per minute, using water and toothpaste it produces nano bubbles to remove the bacteria.  The toothbrush stays on the area  of the tooth and gum for up to 30 seconds each area, no brushing backwards and forwards, making it more stress free for the dog.

Signs that your dog may have dental problems:

  • Bad breath
  • Dribbling
  • Sore Mouth
  • Difficulty eating
  • Red gums
  • Visible abscess
  • Pawing at their mouth/rubbing there mouth on furniture
  • Lethargy
  • Lack of appetite

Other Indications

  • Bad Breath: Could indicate gastro intestinal issues/dental decay/infections/abscess
  • Plaque: Saliva,  food particles and bacteria accumulate, if left untreated this leads to  tartar which is mineralised dead bacteria – this causes issues along  the gum line leading to decay/infections/loss of teeth and other oral  health issues
  • Gingivitus: Reddening of the gums and  inflammation – this is caused by bacteria in the gum line and causes the  gums to bleed easily leading to periodontal disease
  • Periodontal disease: Progressive  inflammation of supporting structures of the teeth – this leads to  dental decay and infections getting into the blood stream
  • Abscess pocket in the gum which is filled with pus/infected tissue – left untreated it is painful and the infections can spread to the jaw, head  and neck.
  • If an old dog has tartar build up it could lead to a lower immune system due to the toxins entering the circulatory system.

A Vet MUST be seen if the dog has the following:

  • Root or subcutaneous abscess
  • Broken or fractured teeth
  • Foul breath
  • Receding gums
  • Gum disease
  • Periodontal disease
